1. Do I need a ticket to attend the show?
Yes, everyone is required to purchase a ticket for entry to the show, with the exception of honorees who are personally invited to celebrate their impactful achievements.
2. Are children allowed at the event?
Yes, children are allowed with parent supervision. However, no one under the age of 18 will be permitted entry without adult supervision.
3. How are nominees selected for the awards?
The public nominates the candidates, and the number of nominations received will determine if they are placed on the official nomination ballot.
4. What is the process for nominees to accept their nominations?
All prospective nominees must formally accept their nominations within the allotted time to be included on the official voting ballot. Our team will not make two efforts to reach you, and any nominee who does not formally accept will forfeit their nomination.
5. Will food be served at the event?
There will be no food served this year, and it is most likely that food will not be served in the future as well.
6. What is the dress code for the event?
The dress code is formal, with no exceptions. Attendees are advised to avoid ball caps, rompers, white t-shirts, flip-flops, or sandals. Recommended attire for men includes suits or slacks with dress shoes or matching tennis shoes, while women are encouraged to wear long dresses, ball gowns, or dress skirts.
7. Will the awards be available during the show?
The goal is for awards to be available and presented at the award show; however, due to shipping delays, some awards may not arrive on time. In such cases, they will be mailed to the recipients.
8. What is the schedule for the red carpet event?
The red carpet will begin and end promptly at the allotted times. During this time, media will exit, and interviews and photo opportunities will conclude before the show begins.
9. Can I bring outside food and drinks to the event?
No, outside food and drinks are not permitted. Additionally, food will not be served this year.
10. How can I become a presenter at the event?
Presenter slots are primarily reserved for sponsors, but there may be additional opportunities for individuals. If you are interested, please check in with us. The cost to be an individual presenter is the VIP ticket cost plus $25, as it serves as a small sponsorship.
11. Will there be performances at the show?
Performances are welcome but not guaranteed. Interested parties must audition unless they are booked by the award show. You are responsible for your own props, which must be approved by staff prior to the event.
12. What is the refund policy for purchases and retainers?
All purchases and retainers are non-refundable under any circumstances unless confirmed in writing with a signature from the CEO.
